i never grow sian of watching this vid somehow... since im really sian of studying, i shall spend my time scrutinizing little details of it. lol. (disclaimer: following content has no intention of critisizing any members. just pure observations.)
  1. Anchors Aweigh (signature piece!)
  2. cymbals did the first type of crash, which is chinese high's signature crash (which supposedly no one outside can imitate successfully =))
  3. started off display with jh cuing passing the cue to me for the going down gimmick
  4. which hurts quite a bit
  5. <3s the snare-going-down gimmick
  6. @1.33 rick (right hand side cymbalist) did not raise out his cymbals like jiexuan (left hand side cymbalist)
  7. The Incredibles
  8. Dominoes
  9. rick is the first guy to go down for the dominoes. lol
  10. Jericho
  11. rick drifted to his right when moving forward @ 2.06
  12. rick is out again @2.30
  13. @2.30 some guy on the left (of the screen) protruding side moved to align himself when theres supposed to be no movements
  14. @2.31, yu ying, the band behind us, moved a few steps forward lol
  15. @2.37, a random bird blew by, as seen in the foreground of the screen. random.
  16. This Old Man (as we always refer it as since we all dont know its real name...)
  17. <3s 'this-old-man' solo by bangky and leslie (mallets)
  18. cymbals did the second type of crash for 'this-old-man'. supposedly an adapted version of bowen's crash
  19. @2.47, as the coming in ppl reached, the going out ppl moved out. which is quite nice
  20. @2.53, jh's (bass drummer) arm movement matches those of mine (toms) as i gave the cue
  21. The Merry Widow
  22. @3.02, somehow the resulting pokeball is not balanced on the left (theres this gap at the left side) and the right side. it doesnt seem as if anyone is out though =\
  23. Perc Interlude (lol)
  24. @3.29, jiexuan did not spread his feet apart with the rest of the first row percs on time
  25. @3.29, siyao (3rd snare from the left of screen) stepped his left leg out. the rest didnt.
  26. @3.32, siyao was the first to get his snare drum spinning
  27. @3.32, the DM caught the mace but the crowd didnt cheer like they always would
  28. cos the percs more zhai =)
  29. @3.32, the 2nd phrase of my solo was late by a semiquaver (since i wasnt with the bassdrum beat)
  30. @3.33, all the snares drummers placed their left hand on their waist EXCEPT for glendon (4th snare drummer from the left of screen)
  31. which resulted in him doing quite an unglam move @ 3.34
  32. @3.36, lj (first snare drummer from left of screen) stopped his snare drum last.
  33. the other snare drummers stopped the snare drum using their left hands, in front of the torso, while lj stopped the snare using his left hand when the snare reached his left hip (where the strap hook is). hence resulting in 32
  34. but still overall the snares rock =)
  35. St. Anthony's Variations
  36. <3s>
  37. cymbals did the third type of crash for 'st anthony's'. which results in some sort of symmetry. used for slow and grand songs only. mostly.
  38. @4.09, both jiexuan and bangky (left side of first row) did not move forward on time
  39. @4.23, and the DM drops his mace =\
  40. but quickly recovers =)
  41. Mass Twirl
  42. @4.27, the 3rd trombonists from the left at the last row dropped his slide. tried to pick up. but failed to fix back.
  43. @4.28, the player behind glendon (4th snare drummer from left of screen) drop his instru and bent down to pick up
  44. @4.29, i crossed my arms while concluding the LSC
  45. Persis
  46. @4.30, PERSIS <3s
  47. IMBA BANGKY'S MALLET SEMIQUAVER RUN
  48. the other mallet plays the chimes part instead
  49. @4.46, i spinned back slightly late. yar i always had trouble with it and i was told not to play for that short duration just to get my spin on time.
  50. @4.56, the official (in the midground) picks up the trb slide left behind (refer to pt33)
  51. @5.01, the rubber handle on my mallet was on the verge of flying out due to the impact i have been playing at. especially evident when i rose my arms quite high just to get that volume.
  52. @5.07, and mr siao commented 'playing very fast' lol.
  53. @5.10, you can hear the strike of a cowbell if you listen carefully. i think its my cowbell cos the mount was quite eroded and the cowbell was spinning everywhere... =\
  54. @5.11, lj didnt raise his sticks to the same degree as the rest
  55. @5.17, only siyao and glendon did the 'spasm'. lj and wilson didnt do.
  56. @5.19, the official thought our performance is over and stepped forward to return the trb slide, only to get a shock later that we actually havnt cos theres a 4 counts rest at the end of Persis b4 the last 5 semiquavers
  57. @5.26, and the slide goes back to the rightful owner (and they lived happily ever after) =)
  58. March Out
  59. @5.26, yu ying sedia-ed
  60. @5.40, lol the hwa chong logo at the top right hand corner..
lol.. actually generated 60 points out of the vid..
