finding your true identity in this rapidly changing/moving world is getting harder by the days.. ppl are just weaving in and out of their lives without really realising their purposes and what they really want to do for their lives and for others.
i feel that this song also wants to illustrate how society and closed ones pressurize individuals to suit into the stereotypes and benchmarks of society. the ppl 'generated' these days are just conformists to soceity's perceptions. like the girl in the mtv, she obviously has the talent in drawing, but her efforts are not recognized, because the Arts are, sadly to say, put aside while the nation strives for rentless efforts to develop.
instead of emulating others or conforming to other people's expectations, we should seriously slow down and really think what we want to do. -"all i want to do is be more like me and be less like you"
